Job Title: CNC Turner Location: Hyde, Greater Manchester Hours: 35 hours per week

The Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business in the Hyde area. Due to continued demand, they are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

• Setting and operating CNC lathes to produce precision-engineered components
• Programming and operating machines using Siemens and Fanuc controls
• Operating large vertical lathes for heavy/large-diameter component work
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to tight tolerances
• First-off inspection and in-process quality checks
• Carrying out routine machine maintenance and tool changes
• Working to production schedules and deadlines

The Candidate

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner — essential
• Proficient on both Siemens and Fanuc controls
• Experience on large vertical lathes is highly desirable
• Able to read and work to engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced production environment

Hours & Pay

• 35 hours per week contracted
• All hours beyond 35 paid at time and a half
• Sunday working paid at double time
• Overtime is regularly available — ideal for those looking to boost earnings
