Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group's Skilled Shop Floor Team is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley. We are currently supporting the business in its search for an enthusiastic CNC Wood Machinist/CNC Saw Operator to join the team.

CNC Wood Machinist / CNC Saw Operator:

• Shift: Morning and afternoon shifts available
• Hours: 37.5
• Hourly Rate: £13.25 - £14.50 p/h DOE + 10% shift allowance 

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Wood Machinist / CNC Saw Operator:

• Set and operate CNC machinery for the manufacture of wooden door components
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CNC programmes
• Set tooling, offsets and machine parameters
• Produce components accurately and efficiently to required tolerances
• Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process

Requirements

We would be keen to speak with a CNC Wood Machinist / CNC Saw Operator

• Apprentice-trained or time-served in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with precision.
• Skilled in using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Experienced CNC Operator with wood.
