Field Service Coffee Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Coffee Engineer to join a leading coffee equipment manufacturer, covering customers across the West Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to work directly for a manufacturer, providing technical support, servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of professional coffee machines.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring customers receive a first-class technical service, diagnosing faults efficiently and keeping equipment operating at its best. You’ll spend your time on the road visiting customer sites, supported by an experienced technical and service team.

What You'll Be Doing

Install, service and repair commercial coffee machines at customer sites.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and technical faults.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

Commission and test equipment following installation or repair.

Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

Complete accurate service reports and job documentation.

Identify recurring faults and recommend effective solutions.

Manage your daily workload and prioritise service calls effectively.

Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle to a high standard.

Represent the manufacturer professionally at customer sites.

Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.

About You

We’re looking for a technically capable engineer who enjoys problem-solving and working directly with customers.

You’ll ideally have:

Previous experience as a Coffee Engineer, Field Service Engineer or similar technical role.

Experience servicing and repairing commercial coffee machines.

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

A practical and methodical approach to diagnosing technical issues.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

A professional approach when representing a manufacturer and its products.

A full, valid UK driving licence.

Experience with bean-to-cup, traditional espresso or other commercial coffee equipment would be advantageous.
