Position: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000

Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client, an established engineering and facilities management company providing mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance services across the industrial and commercial sectors. The company supports a diverse range of clients, including manufacturing, engineering, education, retail and logistics businesses.

The Commercial Gas Engineer will be responsible for carrying out servicing, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and breakdown repairs on commercial gas appliances and heating systems across a variety of client sites. The role will involve travelling to commercial and industrial premises within approximately a 90min radius of Peterborough.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Overview

Commercial Gas Engineer required covering Peterborough and the surrounding areas, carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown repairs on commercial heating and gas systems across industrial, manufacturing, commercial, and educational sites.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Requirements

• Valid commercial gas qualifications, including relevant ACS commercial gas tickets
• Previous experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas appliances and heating systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown works
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Based within commutable distance of Peterborough

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Remuneration

• Basic Salary - £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
• Company vehicle
• Travel paid after 30mins, this is changing to door to door travel pay from February 2027
