Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Commercial Laundry Engineer to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of a wide range of commercial laundry equipment, including industrial washers and tumble dryers.
The ideal candidate must hold valid Gas Safe qualifications (COMCAT/CCLNG1) and possess a strong electrical background to provide first-class service to our diverse client base in sectors such as healthcare, hospitality and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on commercial laundry machinery and carry out effective repairs.
- Gas Safety: Conduct annual gas safety inspections and performance testing on gas-fired dryers and ironers.
- Installation: Install and commission new equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Execute scheduled service contracts to ensure equipment longevity and minimise client downtime.
- Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of the company, providing technical advice and training to onsite staff.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate digital records of all work completed, including gas safety certificates and job sheets.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- Gas Safe Registered: Commercial ACS Gas Laundry Qualifications: CLE1 / LAU1 / CCLNG1 or Domestic ACS Gas Safe Qualifications (we can then cross train you on to commercial laundry) CCN1
- Electrical Proficiency: Proven ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools (multimeters). 18th Edition or Part P is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience working specifically with commercial laundry brands (e.g., Miele, Electrolux, Girbau, Primus).
- Plumbing Knowledge: Ability to manage water inlet and drainage requirements for industrial washers.
- Licensing: A full, clean UK driving license.

Schedule & Location
- Location: Norfolk
- Hours: Day shift (typically 07:30 – 16:30).
- Travel: On the road; overnight stays may occasionally be required.
