We are working with a range of specialist and commercial brokerages operating within Commercial Real Estate Finance, all of whom are actively hiring Commercial Mortgage Brokers at trainee, experienced, and senior levels.

These opportunities span businesses advising SME clients, investors, and developers, offering flexible structures across employed and self‑employed models, from trainee Central London roles through to senior, national positions.

The Role

The role will vary depending on the brokerage and your level of experience. You will advise clients across commercial mortgages and wider commercial property finance solutions, including commercial mortgages, bridging finance, development finance, and complex buy‑to‑let structures.

Across all brokerages, strong administrative, case‑management, and lender support is in place, allowing brokers to focus on client relationships and deal flow. Selected roles also offer structured training in Commercial Real Estate Finance, making these opportunities suitable for advisers transitioning from residential or specialist lending backgrounds.

Employed Opportunities

Employed roles are available from trainee through to senior level, with flexibility across both salary and commission structures depending on experience.

Employed packages include:

• Basic salary from £30,000 up to £50,000 DOE
• Tiered or negotiable commission structures, reaching up to 35%
• Some positions offering 20% bonus with no validation
• 35% commission on self‑generated business (role dependent)
• 20 days holiday, increasing with service up to 25 days
• Private Medical Insurance

Self‑Employed & Associate Broker Options

Many of the specialist and commercial brokerages offer self‑employed or associate broker arrangements, designed for experienced advisers seeking increased flexibility and earning potential.

Self‑employed structures include:

• 60%–70% commission on self‑generated leads
• 40%–50% on company‑provided leads
• Commission splits negotiable based on experience and lender relationships
• 10% commission on referrals
• Fully remote working with access to central support teams

Senior‑Level Opportunities

Senior brokers may also have access to enhanced structures, including:

• A monthly retainer up to £6,000 (dependent on existing banking’s)
• 20% commission on revenue generated beyond 2× the retainer
• High‑quality, consistent lead flow
