Job Description:
Commissioning Engineer - Power GenerationFull-time; Permanent
Wirral; UK travel;
Strong experience commissioning generators and control systems?
Confident with electrical fault finding and system testing?
Happy working nationally with travel and nights away?

What will you be doing?
- Commission generator systems and associated controls
- Carry out testing; fault finding; system validation
- Work with control systems (DSE; ComAp; DEIF)
- Support installs; upgrades and synchronisation
- Liaise with clients and engineers on site
- Ensure systems are fully operational and compliant
Where will you be doing it?
- Field-based role within a specialist service and projects team; working across customer sites nationwide with some time from the northwest depot; hands-on commissioning across critical power installations.
What will you need?
- Proven commissioning experience with generators
- Strong electrical fault finding and testing skills
- Electrical qualifications (18th Edition or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience with synchronisation and load sharing
- Controls experience (DSE; ComAp; DEIF)
- Background in critical power or CHP systems
