Location: Sunderland College – Bede Campus
Contract: Temporary with Potential to Become Permanent
Hours: 22.2 Hours per Week
Start Date: End of August / Beginning of September 2026
Rate: £21.80 – £42.03 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Supply Register is recruiting on behalf of Sunderland College for a Computing & Digital Technology Lecturer to join their successful curriculum team from the start of the new academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Computing Lecturer, Digital Technology Lecturer, IT Teacher, or industry professional looking to share their knowledge and inspire the next generation of digital talent.

The successful candidate will deliver Level 3 IT programmes and Access to HE Diploma courses in Computing & Digital Technology, supporting learners to develop the technical knowledge and skills required for further study, apprenticeships, and careers within the digital sector.

This opportunity has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Computing & Digital Technology Lecturer, you will:

Timetable

Monday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm and 5:00pm – 9:00pm
