Contracts Manager - High Voltage

£60,000 to £65,000 + Car Allowance + 33 Days Holiday + Excellent Benefits

Are you a Contracts Manager or senior electrical professional with High Voltage experience looking to lead and grow a new business unit within a successful engineering organisation?

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a developing High Voltage division, with responsibility for operational performance, commercial growth, customer relationships and team development.

This established engineering business delivers electrical services across the utilities, manufacturing, power generation and infrastructure sectors. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for a driven individual to lead the growth of their High Voltage operation in Hamilton.

In this role, you'll manage the day to day running of the profit centre, overseeing contracts, budgets, commercial performance and project delivery. You'll also play a key role in winning new business, developing client relationships and driving long term growth.

This position would suit a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager or senior HV professional looking to take ownership of a growing business area with significant autonomy and future progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Lead and develop a High Voltage profit centre within an established engineering business
• Manage operational performance, budgets, contracts and profitability
• Develop new and existing client relationships to drive business growth
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard

The Person:

• Experience managing contracts, operations or projects within the electrical industry
• Strong commercial awareness with P&L and budget management experience
• Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical engineering services
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
