Location: Leominster (Candidates must live within a maximum 45-minute commute)

Salary: Up to £80,000 + comprehensive package

The Opportunity

An established and growing regional construction and development business is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of 2–3 local developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager or Project Manager who is ready to take the next step into a Contracts Manager position. You'll receive the support, training and mentoring needed to develop your career while taking ownership of multiple projects.

Projects are all locally based, providing an excellent work-life balance with minimal travel.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of 2–3 live developments, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Projects will include a varied mix of:

• New build residential developments
• New build commercial schemes

You will work closely with site teams, commercial staff and senior management to ensure smooth project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of 2–3 construction projects simultaneously.
• Support and manage Site Managers and project teams.
• Monitor programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Carry out regular site visits and progress meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Identify and manage project risks and provide effective solutions.
• Drive high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

• Proven experience delivering new build construction projects.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to project delivery.
• A full UK driving licence.
