Job Description:

Eclectic Recruitment is working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit a Court of Protection Paralegal to join its growing team based in Blackheath.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with Court of Protection or Private Client experience looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment offering high-quality work and genuine progression.

The successful candidate will work closely with Solicitors and Partners across a varied Court of Protection caseload, supporting vulnerable clients and assisting with both legal and administrative matters.

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting fee earners across a range of Court of Protection matters
• Attending client meetings and taking detailed attendance notes
• Visiting clients in hospitals, care homes and private residences where required
• Managing client payments, financial schedules and budgeting support
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence and Court applications
• Liaising with clients, third parties and external professionals
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Previous Court of Protection experience preferred
• Candidates with relevant Private Client experience will also be considered
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confidence managing financial information and figures
• A proactive and compassionate approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
