Job Role: Customer Hire Desk Administrator
Rota: Monday – Friday – DAYS
Salary: £28,000

My client, a large Plant Hire company with depots across the UK. Due to their continued success, they are now looking for a skilled Customer Hire Desk Administrator to join their ever-growing team.

The role of Customer Hire Desk Administrator in brief:

• Handling a high volume of inbound calls from customers and suppliers
• Responding promptly to incoming emails, ensuring accurate and timely communication
• Logging and processing off-hire requests using internal systems
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date hire records and customer databases
• Managing day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling, document handling, and data entry
• Liaising with internal departments to coordinate deliveries, collections, and service requirements
• Assisting with resolving customer issues in a professional and efficient manner
• Ensuring all documentation and processes are completed to a high standard
• Supporting the team in maintaining an organised and responsive hire desk function

The ideal candidate for the Customer Hire Desk Administrator:

• Previous experience in a Plant, Powered access, Tool or Material Handling industries.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages, and computer skills in general.
• Good communication skills.
