Our client, a well-established organisation based in Doncaster, is looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent after-sales experience, ensuring customer enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently from initial contact through to resolution. The role will also involve supporting day-to-day sales administration activities, including processing orders, preparing quotations and coordinating schedules.

• Deliver first-class support to customers by handling after sales enquiries via telephone and email.
• Assist customers with a range of issues including product concerns, repairs, replacements, returns and warranty-related matters.
• Keep customers informed throughout the resolution process, ensuring communication is accurate, professional and timely.
• Process customer orders and quotations, ensuring all information is accurate and completed within agreed timeframes.
• Coordinate schedules and liaise with internal teams to support the smooth delivery of products and services.
• Maintain and update company databases and internal systems with relevant customer information and case details.
• Work closely with internal teams to identify the root cause of customer concerns and help drive effective solutions.
• Arrange and oversee remedial actions, including coordinating repairs and replacement products where necessary.
• Refer more complex or sensitive cases to senior management for further guidance and resolution.
• Monitor the progress of returned items and warranty claims, ensuring cases are concluded efficiently.
• Compile and analyse after-sales data, producing reports on customer complaints, returns activity, warranty performance and response metrics.

• Previous experience within a customer service and/or administrative role is essential.
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment would be highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications & ERP / MRP systems.
