Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain - Customer Service Representative to join a World leader offering Products, Solutions and Services across the entire Mobility value chain on behalf of a well established manufacturing organisation to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations.

The Supply Chain Customer Service Representative serves as the key interface between international customers and internal operational functions, managing the end-to-end order lifecycle within the Aero Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT) product line. Key responsibilities include processing customer quotations, sales orders, and ERP transactions, alongside monitoring project milestones, investigating pricing structures, and ensuring strict compliance with operational customs and export control regulations. Acting as the primary point of contact, this role facilitates cross-departmental coordination across supply chain functions, leads customer-facing meetings, and resolves delivery issues under tight deadlines to maintain high service standards. 

Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

• Input and process customer quotations, sales orders, and associated documents into the company ERP system (SAP) within agreed target times.

• Maintain accurate data entry and high attention to detail across all order records and customer files.

• Act as the primary point of contact for global customers, communicating regular updates on order plans and progress. 

• Organize and chair customer meetings to review delivery timelines and maintain high customer service standards.

• Resolve customer issues promptly or escalate critical problems within set company timescales.

• Liaise with internal departments (procurement, logistics, operations, engineering) to ensure customer requirements are delivered on schedule.

• Follow up on roadblocks across internal functions to avoid dispatch or manufacturing delays.

• Apply and adhere to export control, customs compliance, and operational customs regulations for international shipments.

• Monitor customer-specific trade rules, limitations, and regulatory requirements across global accounts.

• Investigate underlying costs to help resolve customer pricing queries.

• Prepare and update spreadsheets with cost and pricing data to support commercial decision-making.

• Coordinate with line managers and system super users to identify training needs and maintain up-to-date knowledge.

• Assist management with administrative duties and ad-hoc reporting as required. 

Essential Requirements:

• Demonstrated working knowledge of the supply chain function, especially regarding customer interaction, quality standards, and overall business acumen.

• Hands-on experience in order processing and customer service management.

• Solid, clear understanding of operational customs controls, export controls, and customs compliance.

• Familiarity with tracking and adhering to changing international regulations and specific customer-relationship trade limitations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly spreadsheet management in Excel for cost/pricing investigations).

• Experience with ERP systems; hands-on capability in SAP is strongly desired. 

• High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail while working toward tight delivery deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, well-organized approach.

• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to operate effectively within cross-functional teams and liaise with global customers. 

Desirable Requirements:

• Direct hands-on experience using SAP is highly desirable for processing sales orders, quotations, and tracking transactions.

• Degree qualification in a Supply Chain discipline is considered an advantage.

• Background or familiarity within the energy sector, power generation, or industrial machinery (such as Aero Derivative Gas Turbines). 

• Previous experience managing global customer accounts and liaising with international cross-functional teams.
