Job Description:

An exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst to join the IT function of a busy construction business. This is an excellent graduate or early-career opportunity for someone passionate about cyber security and keen to develop practical experience within an established organisation.

A well-established construction business with a diverse Group structure, investing in cyber security, resilience and technology to strengthen its systems and governance.

The Cyber Security Analyst will coordinate cyber security improvement activity across the Group, tracking vulnerabilities, risks and recommendations through to completion.

Responsibilities will include supporting security platforms and Microsoft security tooling, maintaining cyber risk and remediation records, assisting with incident response and resilience testing, and supporting Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 readiness and GDPR-aligned security controls.

The role will also contribute to security awareness, business continuity, disaster recovery and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Qualification, degree or equivalent practical learning in Cyber Security, Information Security or a related discipline.
• Suitable for a graduate or early-career candidate with a genuine interest in cyber security.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage tasks through to completion.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Awareness of Microsoft security tooling, vulnerability management or cyber incident response would be advantageous.
• Entry-level cyber security certification or willingness to work towards one would be beneficial.

£28,000–£34,000 per annum, depending upon experience.
