Deputy Headteacher – Specialist SEND SchoolAre you an experienced Deputy Headteacher looking for an exciting new challenge within a specialist setting? This wonderful SEND school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a dedicated Deputy Headteacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking leadership team.

The school provides high-quality education and care for children and young people with additional learning needs, with a strong focus on personalised learning, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a key role in the strategic leadership and operational management of the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team, you will help drive standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and pupil progress across the school.The successful candidate will be a passionate and resilient leader with strong SEND knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire staff and students alike.
Job Role:- Supporting the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
- Driving high standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes
- Supporting and developing teaching and support staff
- Leading on key areas of school improvement
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and nurturing school culture
- Supporting safeguarding, behaviour and pupil wellbeing
- Working closely with families, therapists and external agencies
- Ensuring high-quality SEND provision across the school
