We are looking for a passionate, motivated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic childcare professional who is ready to take on a leadership role and help create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the team and ensuring we continue to provide outstanding care and learning experiences for every child.

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:

• Support the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Lead, motivate and support a dedicated team of practitioners.
• Help maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and education.
• Support staff development, supervision and performance.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Help ensure the nursery meets all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to planning and delivering an engaging early years curriculum.
• Step into the Nursery Manager's role when required.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced within an early years or nursery setting.
• A confident and inspiring team leader.
• Passionate about children's development and wellbeing.
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and the EYFS.
• Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
• A positive role model who leads by example.
• Warm, approachable and committed to building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Ideally qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare.
