Job Description:

Our client, a leading consultancy firm in the water sector, is currently seeking a skilled Civil Design Manager for a contract position based in Falmer.

• Overseeing civil design elements of water sector projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Leading a team of designers and engineers to deliver non-infrastructure and mixed bag AMP8 workloads
• Providing expert guidance and direction on all aspects of civil design
• Collaborating with Southern Water and CMDP through secondments to ensure successful project delivery
• Coordinating with various stakeholders to align project goals and timelines
• Managing project deliverables to comply with IR35 regulations
• Ensuring all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the design team

• Experience in civil design management within the water sector
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in using civil design software and tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Understanding of IR35 regulations and contract management
• Ability to work three days a week from the Falmer office
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
