Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Vacancy – Bournemouth

• Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:30pm

Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct vehicle diagnostics using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment
• Perform mechanical repairs and electrical fault-finding tasks
• Carry out MOT testing (MOT tester qualification preferred)
• Diagnose complex vehicle issues across a variety of brands, specialising in certain vehicle makes
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards within set timeframes
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work undertaken
• Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times

Requirements of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
• MOT tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Well-organised and tidy work ethic
• Willingness to undertake additional training in hybrid and electric vehicle systems
• Experience working in a fast-paced workshop environment
