Digital Marketing Specialist

Are you a hands-on digital marketer who enjoys being involved in everything from PPC and email campaigns through to social media, website content and lead generation?

We’re working with an established and growing B2B business that is looking to appoint a Digital Marketing Specialist to join its marketing team.

This is a varied, operational role where you’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to turn marketing plans into action. It would suit someone who loves getting stuck into the detail, can confidently manage multiple campaigns and channels, and enjoys seeing the commercial impact of their work.

What you'll be doing

• Planning and delivering email marketing and paid advertising/PPC campaigns
• Supporting SEO activity and taking ownership of day-to-day website updates and optimisation
• Creating engaging content for social media, email, landing pages and wider marketing collateral
• Managing and scheduling regular social media activity
• Supporting B2B lead generation through market and prospect research
• Managing inbound marketing leads and maintaining accurate CRM data
• Working closely with the Sales team to nurture and convert marketing-generated opportunities
• Liaising with external digital agencies and monitoring campaign activity
• Supporting the marketing of industry events and trade shows
• Monitoring digital traffic, email engagement, campaign performance and competitor activity
• Producing regular marketing reports and using data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Managing marketing databases and mailing lists in line with GDPR requirements

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have 3–5 years' broad marketing experience, with strong exposure to digital marketing and campaign delivery.

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have experience across several of the following:

• PPC and paid digital campaigns
• Email marketing
• SEO and website management
• Social media and content creation
• CRM systems – HubSpot experience would be particularly advantageous
• Marketing analytics and reporting
• Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• B2B lead generation

You'll be organised, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership of your workload. Strong written communication skills are important, as you'll be producing content across a variety of channels and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.

Previous experience within a B2B, manufacturing, engineering, construction, agriculture or technical environment could be advantageous, although we're equally interested in the right digital marketing skill set.
