Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading organisation within the construction and infrastructure sector who are looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller on a temporary basis for an initial period of approximately 2 months.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Document Controller with previous construction project experience, particularly someone with hands-on Asite experience, who can quickly integrate into an established project team and take ownership of document control activities.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring project documentation is accurately registered, distributed, controlled and maintained, working closely with project teams and wider stakeholders to ensure everyone has access to the latest information.

Key Responsibilities of the Document Controller:

• Manage the registration, receipt, distribution and issue of project documentation.
• Maintain accurate document registers and full audit trails.
• Ensure project teams have access to the latest drawings and documentation.
• Monitor document status and chase outstanding information.
• Ensure documentation is issued in line with project procedures and document management requirements.
• Manage the filing and archiving of project documentation.
• Support the management and distribution of drawings, as-built information and project records.
• Maintain accurate document reference numbers and package listings.
• Ensure document access permissions are correctly maintained.
• Liaise with project teams, clients and supply chain partners to ensure information is issued and received correctly.
• Provide day-to-day support and guidance on document control processes and systems.

We’re looking for an experienced Document Controller who has worked within a construction or infrastructure project environment and can quickly get up to speed.

Asite experience is highly desirable, as you’ll be expected to confidently navigate document management processes and systems from the outset.

You’ll be highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing a high volume of project documentation. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll be liaising with project personnel and multiple stakeholders to ensure information is delivered accurately and on time.

Experience with other document management systems such as Aconex, Viewpoint or Enterprise Bridge would also be beneficial.
