Job Description:

Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Technical Data & Document Controller to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major defence and infrastructure project in North West London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established asset management team, supporting a significant asset verification and handback programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate asset information across a complex operational site, assisting with the verification of approximately 30,000 assets.

Due to the secure nature of the project, candidates must already hold valid SC Security Clearance to be considered.

The position is available for an ASAP start and is initially expected to run for approximately 9 months, with potential for extension or a permanent opportunity depending on future project requirements.

• Maintain and update asset records across Information Management Systems, databases and CAFM systems.
• Assist with the verification, validation and capture of assets across the site.
• Support the handback of asset information for maintenance and operational purposes.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing structures to provide contractual evidence of asset capture and handback compliance.
• Prepare asset data for trend analysis, condition monitoring and lifecycle activities.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports, dashboards and management information.
• Develop and run reports using CAFM and other IT platforms.
• Support contractual audits and statutory, mandatory and technical compliance checks.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure asset databases remain accurate and up to date.
• Identify and highlight risks relating to asset data integrity.
• Support the monitoring of specialist subcontractors against contractual requirements and SLAs.
• Assist with general administration and facilities coordination where required.

• Current SC Security Clearance is essential and must already be in place prior to starting.
• Previous experience within technical data, document control, asset management or asset information.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and experienced using Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience working with CAFM databases, such as Concept Evolution.
• Experience using asset capture software, such as Mobiess.
• A Level 4 or above technical or numerical qualification involving numerical analysis.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate and understandable reports from complex datasets.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to progress tasks with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with operational teams, management and key stakeholders.
