Driver / Operations Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Driver / Operations Assistant to support a fast-moving operational environment. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining short-distance driving with practical project and warehouse-style support.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out short-distance driving duties using company vans
• Support operational and project-based work across different locations
• Load and unload vans safely and efficiently
• Assist with deliveries, collections, and on-site tasks
• Handle heavy lifting and physical work as required
• Work independently and use initiative to solve problems on the go
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and daily requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience driving vans is essential
• Must be over 21 years old (insurance requirement)
• Full UK driving licence with a good driving record
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling/heavy lifting
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude
• Able to think and act independently
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible

About the Role

• Approximately 20% driving duties
• Majority of the role involves operational support and project work
• Fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Short Term Temp work or could lead to perm for the right candidate
