Electrical Engineer (Intermediate to Senior)

We are a growing design consultancy based in Newmarket, seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 5–7+ years’ experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

You will be involved in the design and delivery of electrical systems across a range of projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial, residential, and/or industrial projects
• Produce detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineers
• Attend site visits and support project delivery
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5–7+ years’ relevant experience in a consultancy or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g. BS 7671)
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux or similar)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Working towards or already chartered (desirable but not essential)
