Electrician – Testing & Inspection | Central London
8:00am–4:30pm | Competitive salary + overtime | Company van or travel expenses
Join Polyteck Building Services and work across high-profile client sites throughout Central London. We're looking for an experienced Electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding, inspection, testing and commissioning.
This is a varied site-based role suited to an electrician who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently and is comfortable representing the business directly with clients.

What you'll be doing
- Electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works
- 1st and 2nd fix electrical work
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Inspection, testing and commissioning
- Reactive callouts
- Completing electrical reports, job sheets and certification
- Maintaining accurate site logbooks and records
- Coordinating materials and equipment with the Electrical Operations Manager
- Working safely in accordance with RAMS and Health & Safety requirements
- Liaising professionally with clients, tenants and site representatives
- Supporting apprentices and other engineers where required
What we're looking for
Essential
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
- Proven on-site electrical installation and maintenance experience
- Strong 1st and 2nd fix experience
- Good fault-finding ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification
- Experience of electrical testing and commissioning
- Commercial/building-services maintenance experience
- Full UK driving licence
