Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a busy healthcare environment. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same-ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and wants to make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across electrical systems and wider building services
- Diagnose faults, complete repairs, and support small upgrade and improvement projects
- Work across disciplines including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general maintenance
- Support and monitor contractors, ensuring work is compliant and completed to a high standard
- Use systems such as helpdesk platforms and BMS to manage workflow and track issues
- Play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant and efficient environment

About You
- Qualified in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds Level 3 & 18th Edition essential)
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship
- Strong experience in maintenance and fault finding
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Experience supervising contractors and working across multiple disciplines
- Organised, proactive and committed to safety
Desirable Experience
- Commercial or healthcare environments
- BMS/BEMS systems
- On-call rota participation
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in a 1-in-3 on-call rota
- Act as part of the fire response team
- Maintain accurate records and uphold health & safety compliance
- Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives
