Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, including fault finding, breakdown response, and planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and uptime. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement projects, machinery upgrades, and working closely with production teams to improve safety and efficiency across site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Proven experience in a multi skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills
• Relevant engineering qualifications

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
• Knowledge of automated machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, and control systems
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Understanding of continuous improvement and reliability practices

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC's - Fault Finding, Modify, Programme.
• Previous experience within FMCG, packaging, food, or high-volume manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or 5S
