Job Description:

Maintenance Electrician

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Hours:

• 40 hours per week (37.5 hours plus 2.5 hours contracted overtime)
• Rotating shifts:
  • Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:00pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our engineering team within a busy heavy engineering environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Fault finding and breakdown repairs.
• Planned preventative maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams.

Requirements

Essential

• Apprentice-trained Electrician.
• Strong electrical maintenance experience within heavy engineering or manufacturing.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
• Strong team player.
