Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Tottenham Court Road, London
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, split shifts: 7:00am–4:00pm & 8:00am–5:00pm
Overtime: Available
Call-Out: 1 in 4 weeks – £100 standby payment

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established site in Tottenham Court Road, London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking to join a professional and supportive team, with three separate engineering teams operating onsite. The role offers a strong benefits package, overtime opportunities and excellent scope for training and progression.

The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all systems and equipment remain safe, compliant and operational.

You will work as part of a dedicated onsite engineering team, supporting the day-to-day maintenance requirements of a busy commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
• Carry out electrical inspections, testing and repairs.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
• Participate in the 1 in 4 weeks call-out rota.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong commercial or building services background.

You will ideally have:

• Relevant electrical qualifications, such as 18th Edition.
• Previous experience in electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider engineering team.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
