Job Description:

Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Runcorn

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

Industry: Electrical, Control Systems, Instrumentation

An opportunity has opened for an Electrical Project Engineer to join an engineering and manufacturing company based in Runcorn. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Project Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or similar and will have experience of testing, implementing and installing instrumentation and control systems.

The role involves travel to other UK offices so comes with a car allowance / company car whichever you’d prefer including other benefits such as company bonuses and increasing holiday allowance.

Electrical Project Engineer Key Skills:

• Background in Project Engineering, Commissioning or similar
• Understanding of electrical instrumentation and control systems
• Experience of panel wiring ideally to 18th edition
• Testing & implementation experience
• Excellent understanding of projects from start to finish
• Any CAD experience would be a bonus
• EMC knowledge is beneficial
• Control Systems: SCADA would be ideal
• Full UK Driving License

Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Testing, implementing and installing instrumentation and controls systems for clients
• Commissioning and installing software and hardware and electrical components
• Developing design documentations
• Assisting with the full project lifecycle
• Co-ordinating with customers and implementing their requirements
• Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests
• Attending sites to conduct site surveys
