Electrical Project Manager – Data Centres - EU Passport
Location: Sines, Portugal
Sector: Data Centres / Mission Critical
Employment Type: Full-time | Site-based
Salary: €110,000–€120,000 + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation + Monthly Living Cost Allowance

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a major Data Centre project in Sines, Portugal.

You will take ownership of the full electrical scope, leading the project team and subcontractors from installation through to completion, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all electrical construction and installation activities.
• Manage electrical design coordination and technical interfaces.
• Manage Engineers, Package Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against programme, budget and project milestones.
• Manage labour, materials, plant and resources.
• Coordinate electrical works with other trades and project teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Drive high standards of Health, Safety and Quality.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve technical documentation and project reports.
• Lead weekly coordination and progress meetings.
• Manage procurement and long-lead electrical equipment.
• Manage variations, change control and project risks.
• Prepare weekly progress, programme and commercial reports.
• Support testing, commissioning and project handover.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience managing large-scale electrical projects.
• Strong background in Electrical Construction / Installation.
• Data Centre / Mission Critical experience highly desirable.
• Electrical Engineering qualification or strong electrical trade background.
• Proven experience managing major electrical packages or contracts.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction and commissioning.
• Experience managing project programmes, budgets, resources and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Good commercial awareness and experience with change control.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
