Electrical Project ManagerMeridian are working with a well-established M&E contractor in the North-west who are growing their M&E management team. With a wide variety of work on commercial contracts in the area, there are plenty of additional earning possibilities as well as a strong benefits package. Requirements for this role:- Background in Project Management (or relevant title/position) within an Electrical/M&E Hard Services organisation
- SMSTS or equivalent management qualifications
- Electrical background required
- Experience of managing full project deadlines, with an ability to work to changing timeframe and budget requirements
- Strong commercial awareness i.e. budgets & P&L when managing Electrical Installation Service Contracts/Projects
- Excellent people skills with M&E engineers, client-facing meetings, or other subcontractors and engineers on site
- Computer literate, including online communications, ordering and procurement, and existing MS Office skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Duties include (but are not exclusive to):- Constant management of project programme and lifecycles, with regular meetings and visits to site to liaise with Site Managers and Engineers to get accurate timeframes and project updates
- Ensure the provision of electrical Small-Works & Project delivery in line with client scope, budgetary/commercial elements and health & safety/compliance requirements.
- Working closely with Site Management and Directors to provide ongoing production and timely site installations
- Managing material orders by working with onsite Management to stay ahead of programmes, and chasing procurement or delivery teams when needed
- Responsibility for the existing business and accountability for a number of direct and indirect reports, including Supervisors and Mobile Electrical Engineers
