Electrical Shift Engineer

Location: City of London
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental Days & Nights (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Electrical Shift Engineer to join a well-established engineering team, working within a high-profile commercial building.

The Package

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all electrical building services.

• Diagnose and fault-find electrical systems and equipment.

• Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and technical issues.

• Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations.

• Complete maintenance records, logbooks and relevant documentation.

• Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to ensure smooth day-to-day building operations.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

• Previous experience within commercial building services maintenance.

• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• Good knowledge of building services and electrical systems.

• Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.

• A proactive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
