Job Description:

Are you a hands-on engineer driven by the challenge of developing cutting-edge electrified machine technology? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join a fast-paced, innovative development team in Peterborough. This is a critical, high-impact role where you will play a pivotal part in the development of electrified machine demonstrators and prototypes. As we accelerate our electrification initiatives, we are looking for a dedicated professional ready to take ownership of complex technical challenges immediately.



About the Role

This is a 12-month contract position that covers the full development lifecycle. You will transition from early concept and requirements definition through to system integration, machine build, and final validation. Operating in a specialised development environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams; including controls, software, and mechanical integration; to deliver safe, robust, and industry-leading electrical solutions. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure to advanced battery and power electronics technology while working directly with prototype hardware.
