Job Description:

Electrician Required / Industrial Electrician / Installation Electrician – Southampton

£32.00 Per Hour CIS | 38 hours a week | £1,216 Per Week Before Tax | Long-Term Contract

We are currently recruiting experienced Electricians for a long-term industrial project near Southampton.

This role will involve a mixture of:

• Electrical maintenance
• Electrical installation works
• Industrial lighting upgrades
• Containment and wiring
• General site electrical works

This is a long-term project with ongoing work secured well beyond Christmas, working on a large industrial facility.

Electrician Duties

• General electrical maintenance across site
• Electrical installation works
• Major lighting upgrade project
• Installation of containment, cabling, and infrastructure
• Fitting lighting fixtures, switches, and controls
• Working safely within a live industrial environment

Rates & Hours

• £32.00 per hour
• 38 hours per week
• £1,216 gross weekly wage before tax
• CIS / Self-Employed payment

Requirements

• ECS / JIB Gold Card Electrician
• Industrial or commercial site experience
• CCNSG Safety Passport (preferred)

Alternative qualifications accepted:

• SMSTS
• SSSTS
• IOSH Managing Safely
• NEBOSH General

 Candidates without CCNSG can still apply, with support available to obtain this prior to starting.

Desirable

• IPAF
• Industrial experience
• Previous maintenance or installation experience
