Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Staines
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

We are recruiting for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Staines. This is a permanent opportunity for someone with experience in electro-mechanical assembly who enjoys working in a precision manufacturing environment.

The Role

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring and testing electro-mechanical products to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed in line with engineering drawings and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician:

• Assemble electro-mechanical products from engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out mechanical assembly, wiring, and crimping tasks.
• Perform functional testing and quality inspections.
• Identify and report any faults or non-conformances.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Requirements for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician:

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with wiring, crimping and soldering is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
