Job Description:

Embedded Systems Sales / Business Development Manager

Remote (UK-based with occasional UK/EU travel)

£50,000 - £60,000 (plus benefits, car allowance and bonus)

We are partnering with a premier UK-based "Product Enablement" specialist. They are a company at the forefront of designing, developing, and supplying cutting-edge semi-custom, custom, and off-the-shelf electronic sub-systems. They are seeking an experienced technical sales professional to bridge the gap between complex engineering concepts and reality.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive New Business: Identify, nurture, and convert high-value opportunities into custom design and development projects, as well as managing component sales.

• Account Growth & Retention: Cultivate lasting relationships across an existing account base, unlocking new revenue through consultative cross-selling and up-selling.

• Consultative System Scoping: Partner with internal technical teams and customers to map out system architecture options tailored precisely to their needs.

• Market Intelligence: Feed real-time industry trends and customer insights back into the leadership team to help shape future roadmaps and pricing strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical Background: Proven track record in technical sales, account management, or BD within embedded systems, electronics, or technical distribution.

• Domain Awareness: A solid grasp of Embedded Software and firmware product lifecycles 

• Relationship-First Mindset: The credibility to build trust, sell on value rather than lowest price, and manage relationships from concept through mass production.

• Autonomy: Comfortable in a home-based setup with the drive to manage your own pipeline, video calls, and travel cadence.

• Requirements: Must have full UK right to work, a valid driving licence, and the willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally the EU.
