ERP Programme Director

Location: London / Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)
Contract: Until end of March 2027

We are seeking an experienced ERP Programme Director to lead a major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation programme within a large public sector organisation.

This is a high-profile leadership role at a pivotal stage of the programme, with the Outline Business Case complete and procurement about to commence. You will take ownership of the programme’s next phase, driving the modernisation of Finance, HR and supporting technology services and ensuring successful delivery of the programme’s outcomes and benefits.

The Role

You will provide visible, authoritative leadership across a complex transformation programme, working closely with senior stakeholders, executive leadership, technology teams, suppliers and business functions.

A key part of the role will be developing and delivering a robust programme plan covering technology development, testing, business change and operational readiness, ensuring the organisation is fully prepared to adopt new systems and ways of working.

You will also oversee programme governance, budgets, risks, dependencies, benefits and delivery assurance, providing clear reporting and confidence to senior leadership and governance boards.

Key Responsibilities

You will be an experienced senior transformation and programme leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale technology-enabled transformation programmes, ideally within a government or similarly complex environment.
