Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 basic | First Year OTE: £70,000+

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Watford, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter with proven experience to further develop their desk within a specialist technical recruitment agency that is rapidly expanding across the UK.

The Role

As an Experienced Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, managing both client and candidate relationships. You’ll work alongside industry specialists in a collaborative, high-performing environment, with autonomy to grow your desk while receiving ongoing support and development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing new business through outbound calls, emails, and networking
• Managing and growing existing client relationships within the technology sector
• Attending meetings with start-ups, scale-ups, and established tech organisations
• Sourcing, qualifying, and placing high-calibre candidates into niche technical roles
• Providing market insights and consultative advice to clients and candidates
• Representing Hexwired’s brand professionally within the tech recruitment market
• Contributing positively to a driven, supportive team culture

About You

We’re looking for a resilient, commercially minded recruiter who is motivated by success and progression.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in recruitment (360 preferred)
• A background in a fast-paced, target-driven recruitment or sales environment
• A strong billing history or clear evidence of consistent performance
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, results-driven mindset
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• A genuine desire to progress and increase earnings
