*Have high expectations for pupils while understanding the importance of meeting their individual developmental, communication and emotional needs.
*Be skilled in using a range of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, positive behaviour and independence.
*Be able to assess pupil progress effectively and use this information to inform future teaching.

*Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
*Be reflective, resilient, creative and committed to developing their own practice.
*Be excited by the opportunity to develop and shape a new SEN provision within a mainstream primary school.
We can offer you:
*An exciting opportunity to help establish and shape a new SEN provision from the ground up.
*The opportunity to have a significant impact on the educational experiences and outcomes of children with SEND.
*A supportive and collaborative leadership team.
*A friendly, inclusive two-form entry primary school with a strong commitment to meeting the needs of every child.
*Opportunities for high-quality professional development and SEND-specific training.
*The opportunity to work collaboratively with the SENCO and a wider team of professionals.
*A dedicated team of teaching assistants to support the provision.
*A school culture that values inclusion, relationships, ambition and pupil wellbeing.
*A rewarding role where your expertise, creativity and passion can genuinely make a difference.
About you
*We are looking for a teacher who combines excellent classroom practice with a genuine passion for SEND.
*You will understand that effective SEN teaching is about recognising the individual child, identifying their strengths and barriers to learning, and creating the right environment and strategies to help them succeed.
*You will be an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher who can inspire pupils, develop their confidence and independence, and ensure that they experience success and a strong sense of belonging.
*Most importantly, you will share our belief that every child deserves ambitious teaching, high expectations and the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
