Export & Logistics Coordinator

Winchester Area | Full Time | Permanent

Monday to Friday | Flexible Start (8:30am–9:00am) | 2:00pm Finish Every Friday

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer looking for an experienced Export & Logistics Coordinator to join their friendly, long-standing team. This opportunity has arisen due to retirement, making it an excellent chance to join a business where people stay for the long term.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands international shipping inside out. You'll be trusted to manage worldwide shipments, coordinate freight, prepare export documentation and ensure products reach customers across the globe smoothly and efficiently.

Alongside logistics, you'll also provide general office support, making this a varied position where no two days are the same.

The Role

• Coordinate UK and international shipments
• Arrange courier collections and freight dispatches
• Prepare and manage export documentation
• Liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers and customers worldwide
• Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues
• Work confidently with Incoterms and international shipping requirements
• Support order processing and general office administration
• Maintain shipping records, certificates and compliance documentation
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide day-to-day administrative support
• Assist the engineering and production teams with documentation where required including regular quotations 

What We're Looking For

You'll already have experience working within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment and be comfortable managing international logistics independently.

Ideally you'll have experience with:

• International shipping and export coordination
• Freight forwarding and courier management
• Incoterms
• Export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping paperwork
• Liaising directly with freight forwarders and overseas customers
• Coordinating multiple shipments simultaneously

Experience with customs procedures, certificates of origin or wider export compliance would be advantageous but isn't essential.
