Solihull (Chelmsley Wood, B37) £13.05 per hour PAYE Full\-Time \| 37 Hours per Week \| Temporary \(4–6 Weeks with Potential to Become Permanent\)

Lynx Employment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Facilities Assistant / Caretaker to support the day-to-day operation of multiple public buildings.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with facilities, caretaking, porter or security experience looking to join a professional facilities team, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

### The Role

You'll be responsible for:

### Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday (rotating shifts)

7:30am – 3:00pm 11:30am – 7:00pm

(30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Emergency call-out rota every three weeks:

Minimum three hours paid if called out. No standby payment.

### We're Looking For

Previous experience in facilities, caretaking, porter or security roles. Experience working in schools, public buildings, shopping centres or similar environments. Good awareness of health and safety. Ability to work independently and use your own initiative. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (up to six penalty points accepted).

### What's on Offer

£13.05 per hour PAYE. Monday to Friday working. 4–6 week initial contract with review. Opportunity to be considered for a permanent position. Full training provided.
