Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Support the day-to-day running of council buildings.
• Ensure buildings are safe, clean and welcoming.
• Supervise and coordinate Facilities Assistants and other staff.
• Monitor cleaning, security, waste and other facilities services.
• Carry out building inspections and report any issues.
• Respond to customer queries and facilities-related problems.
• Carry out vacant building checks.
• Assist with room set-ups and moving furniture/equipment.
• Act as a key holder, opening and locking buildings when required.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, flooding, break-ins and vandalism.
• Work with contractors and service providers to ensure standards are maintained.
• Complete records, reports and other facilities documentation.
• Lone working may be required.

Hours and Pay:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:00pm, with occasional late cover until 5:30pm.
• £17.18 per hour
• Weekly pay via agency!
