Fencing Contracts Manager

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire with travel across the Midlands
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000, negotiable depending on experience

We are recruiting for an established fencing contractor delivering commercial, industrial, security, education and infrastructure projects across the Midlands.
This is a hands-on role managing multiple fencing and gate installation projects from initial site assessment and quotation through to completion and final account.

Fencing Contracts Manager - Key responsibilities

• Visit sites to assess requirements, take measurements and identify access or installation considerations.
• Prepare accurate quotations and calculate labour, materials, plant and subcontractor requirements.
• Manage contracts from award through to completion.
• Coordinate installation teams, subcontractors, materials and site programmes.
• Monitor project costs, profitability, variations and additional works.
• Prepare and review RAMS and ensure projects meet health and safety requirements.

Fencing Contracts Manager - Skills and experience

• Previous experience managing fencing, construction, groundworks or civil engineering projects.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
• Experience coordinating site teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Full UK driving licence.
