Working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team, you’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault finding, repairs, and improvement initiatives across customer sites.

You’ll also take part in a call‑out rota and support installations and maintenance activities across the UK and occasionally overseas.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules and contractual requirements

Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults

Identify and recommend improvements to equipment and maintenance processes

Participate in the service and call‑out rota

Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Health & Safety legislation

Maintain accurate records, reports, and professional written communication

Liaise with engineering, operations, and customer teams to support innovation and continuous improvement

Effectively manage workload, time, and priorities

Report incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly, contributing to preventative strategies

Health & Safety

Comply with all company, client, and statutory Health & Safety policies

Follow safe working practices, COSHH, fire, hygiene, and site rules

Remain aware of site‑specific hazards and actively promote a safe working environment

Training & Development

Attend performance development reviews (PDRs) and take ownership of your ongoing training

Participate in company and legislative training as required

Additional Responsibilities

Provide support to other UK and international sites when required

Safeguard company and client property and equipment

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues

Escalate issues and customer concerns appropriately

Share best practices and process improvements across the team
