Job Description:

Fire Alarm / Fire & Security Engineer – 3 Positions Available

Location: Hartlepool, Newcastle upon Tyne, Middlesbrough & York
Salary: Up to £46,000 basic (potentially negotiable for the right candidate)

Package details

• Travel paid after the first 15 minutes each way

• 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays

• 1 in 6 call-out rota (potentially negotiable)

• £175 standby payment per call-out week

• 40-hour working week, typically 8am–4:30pm

• Flexible start and finish times, with the opportunity to start and finish earlier

• Full commissioning training available for engineers looking to develop their skills

Company overview

Our client is a well-established Fire & Security and technology business with over 35 years of industry experience and a strong nationwide presence. They support major organisations across a range of sectors and hold both NSI Gold and BAFE accreditation, demonstrating their commitment to quality, compliance and high industry standards. We have also successfully placed a Project Manager with the business, giving us an established relationship and first-hand experience of working with their team.

Role overview

We are recruiting for four engineers across the North East and Yorkshire, with the following opportunities available:

• 1 Project Engineer – Focused on the installation and commissioning 

• 1 Installation Engineer – Carrying out installation work

• 1 Service Engineer – Responsible for servicing, and fault-finding

Our client is happy to consider experienced Fire Alarm Engineers or Fire & Security Engineers. You do not need to have previous commissioning experience, as full training can be provided for the right candidates.
