Passive Fire Site Manager – Fire Door Remediation (Temp)
Location: Watford
Day Rate: £260 – £300 Per Day

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Passive Fire Site Manager to join a leading UK passive fire protection and compliance contractor on a short-term contract in Watford. The role involves overseeing fire door remediation works across social housing sites, with an initial two-week contract and the potential for further work with a well-established and highly regarded business.

The Role

As Passive Fire Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of fire door remediation works across occupied social housing sites in Watford. You will manage operatives on site, ensure all works are completed safely, compliantly and to the required quality standards, and act as the key point of contact between site teams, clients and the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of fire door remediation works across occupied social housing sites in Watford
• Manage operatives on site, organising workflow and ensuring works are delivered on time and to the required standard
• Carry out quality checks and inspections of completed fire door works throughout the programme
• Ensure all works are completed in line with fire door compliance standards including BM TRADA, FIRAS and IFC requirements
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and ensure full health and safety compliance throughout
• Liaise professionally with clients, residents and site contacts
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and compliance documentation
• Ensure sites are fully stocked with materials and access equipment at all times

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within fire door installation or remediation works — essential
• Experience working within occupied social housing environments — essential
• Strong technical knowledge of fire door compliance standards
• SMSTS — required
• CSCS Card — required
• First Aid — required
• Full UK Driving Licence — required
• Asbestos Awareness — desirable
