Job Description:

Overview:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Engineer. This role involves both service and installation work across a range of systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV. You will be covering Greater London and surrounding areas, working on a variety of commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarm systems
• Installation and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems
• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of intruder alarms
• Installation and support of access control systems
• Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
• Ensure all work is completed to relevant industry standards and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site
• Accurately complete job reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with fire and security systems
• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV
• Experience in both installation and service roles
• Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., BS5839)
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

• FIA, ECS, or other relevant certifications
• Experience working in commercial environments
• Knowledge of multiple manufacturers' systems
