The role will cover Andover and the surrounding areas, with regular travel required. A company van, fuel card, iPhone and iPad will be provided.

Your responsibilities will include:

You will be expected to work to relevant British Standards and industry requirements, with the role including work across systems such as Advanced, C-TEC, Gent, Xenex, Morley and Twinflex.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong background in fire and security engineering who is confident working independently and in occupied residential environments.

You'll ideally have:

An electrical qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience within the social housing sector, including liaising with residents and arranging access to properties, would be desirable. Experience with fire extinguishing equipment, aspiration systems and automatic door closure mechanisms would also be beneficial.

Training and additional qualifications can be provided for the right candidate.

Most importantly, you'll have a professional and polite approach, strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, colleagues and contractors. You'll be comfortable working alone while also contributing effectively as part of a wider team.

The preferred location for this role is within approximately 20 miles of Andover due to the travel requirements.

This role involves working in occupied properties and is subject to a satisfactory driving licence check and essential qualifications check.

A Basic DBS check will also be undertaken for the successful candidate.

If you're an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking for a secure, permanent opportunity with a strong benefits package and the chance to make a genuine difference to residents, we'd love to hear from you.
