Fire & Security Service Engineer

Up to £43,000 + Company Vehicle + Excellent Benefits Package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a growing team, working across a varied portfolio of commercial clients and sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, servicing and reactive repairs across a range of fire and security systems.

Duties will include:

• Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and carrying out system repairs.
• Working on a range of electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.
• Ensuring all work is completed to relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Completing accurate service reports and relevant documentation.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to speak with engineers who have:

• Previous experience in a Fire & Security Service Engineer position.
• Good technical knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Experience in fault finding, servicing and maintenance.
• A relevant industry qualification or manufacturer training.
• A professional approach with good customer-facing skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Ideally, we are looking for engineers based in or around:

Leicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton or Cambridge, although candidates within commutable areas will also be considered.
